How it was made
EXBERRY® Shade Vivid Orange OS is added to vegetable oil before it is blended with fresh ginger root, orange zest, grated carrots, and eggs. Granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt are folded in to create a moist batter. A light coating of sugar is sprinkled on top before baking in a bundt pan for a subtle crunch and caramelized finish.
This is a versatile concept that can be adapted for year-round appeal, incorporating ingredients such as pumpkin or squash in fall or zucchini or peaches in summer.
